About Us

The Crosstown Playwrights are Bronwyn Clark, Jack Karp, Dan McCoy, Michael Niederman, and Phlip Wilson.

Crosstown Playwrights is a collective of New York dramatists working together to generate, develop, and produce new work for the stage. The Crosstown Playwrights have produced several ten-minute and one-act play festivals – “Who Is Boris R. Tower?” and “Spring Forward” – as well as a staged reading series of new full-length plays. Works developed by Crosstown Playwrights have had productions and readings throughout the U.S., England, and Canada with Ashland New Plays Festival, Sam French Festival, 13th Street Rep, Source Festival, Clubbed Thumb, Algonquin Theater, Workshop Theater, Actors Studio, Elephant Theatre, Turtle Shell Productions, Queens Players, Flour City Theatre, Ignited States, Ohio Theater, Blue Box Productions, Over Our Head Players, and the International Short Play Festival.
